The course is open to up to 4 members of the school council with an accompanying adult (Teacher, TA, Governor etc) It will be useful if members of the school council discuss these issues with their peers to enable them to reflect the views of their wider school community. Questions that will help them to prepare: - Where do I feel safe in school? - What makes me feel safe in school? - Are there any places where I would like to feel safer? How? - What makes me feel safe in the community? - How could local police community officers help to make us feel safer in our communities? - Do I know how to be safe on the internet? With a mobile phone? - What would I like to know to keep me safer? There will be several external facilitators including local community police officers (PCSO's) and the LA Anti Bullying Coordinator. Local Ward Councillors will also be invited to attend. Lunch will be provided at 12.15 |
