The National Standard Training Course that has been developed by Simon Blake (Chief Executive of Brook UK) and Rob Brown (National Freelance Trainer, Consultant and Coach) will be available again in North East Lincolnshire.

Boys Own training aims to provide an opportunity to think about issues and develop approaches to working with boys and young men so that they feel safe and supported to learn and develop.

Boys Own training aims to provide workers with the skills and confidence to support the emotional development of boys and young men. 

It also aims to develop strategies which will value and nurture boys and young men’s self-esteem and emotional resourcefulness.  

The course will be facilitated by Accredited Trainers Rob Powlesland (Teenage Pregnancy Team Raising Aspirations Co-ordinator) and Keith Sykes (Specialist Health Promotion Service Men’s Health Co-ordinator)
